At LessonLabs ("we," "our," or "us"), we respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the MyStudio by LessonLabs application (the "Service").
1. Information We Handle
The Service operates as a local-only application. We do not require account creation and do not collect or store personal information on LessonLabs servers.
Information handled by the app may include:
Lesson Data: Schedules, lesson plans, notes, and lesson history created by the teacher
Student Data: Student names and lesson-related notes entered by the teacher
Files: Documents or attachments added by the teacher
App Preferences: Settings and configuration stored on the device
All such information is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to LessonLabs.
2. Google Calendar Integration (Optional)
The Service offers an optional 2-way sync with Google Calendar. This feature is entirely opt-in and disabled by default.
If you choose to enable Google Calendar sync:
Lesson schedule data will be synced directly between your device and Google Calendar
LessonLabs does not store, access, or process your Google Calendar data on our servers
The sync occurs directly between your device and Google's services
You can disable this feature at any time in the app settings
Google Calendar integration is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review Google's privacy practices.
3. Automatically Collected Information
The Service does not collect analytics, tracking data, or usage data.
Certain system-level information (such as crash logs or diagnostics) may be collected by Apple as part of iOS system services, in accordance with Apple's privacy policies. LessonLabs does not receive personally identifiable information from these services.
4. How Information Is Used
All data entered into the Service is used solely to:
Enable lesson scheduling and planning
Manage student records locally
Store files and notes for instructional purposes
LessonLabs does not access, process, or analyze this data.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
LessonLabs does not sell, share, or disclose your information.
Because all data remains on your device, no information is shared with LessonLabs or third parties.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
All data is retained locally on your device until you choose to delete it or uninstall the application.
Deleting the app from your device will remove all locally stored data.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for use by teachers and instructors. Teachers may enter student information into the app for instructional purposes.
LessonLabs does not directly collect, receive, or process student information, as all data remains on the teacher's device.
8. Security
The security of your data depends on the security of your device. We recommend using device-level protections such as a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.
The Service does not transmit data over the internet.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. Any changes will be posted with an updated "Last Updated" date.
